Robert 3 Hawkless (Thomas Hawkless 2, John Hawkley 1) was born on August 21, 1848 in Merri River, Vic and died in 1894 in Gladesville, NSW. He is buried next to his mother Elizabeth, nee Sloan, and his wife Marian at the Field of Mars, Ryde. His grave also contains the remains of his daughter Rebecca who died at aged 20.
