Maria Matilda 3 Hawkless (Thomas Hawkless 2, John Hawkley 1) was born on December 3, 1854 in Hunters Hill, NSW and died in Gladesville, NSW. She married John Woodcock in 1880 in Sydney, NSW. He was born in the Scilly Isles, Cornwall, England in 1841 and died in 1919.
Children of Maria Matilda 3 Hawkless and John Woodcock:
| Emily 4 Woodcock | b. 1882 | married Frederick Rickwood in 1912 |
| Bertha Woodcock | b. 1884 | died 15-Jan-1955 |
| Fanny Woodcock | b. 1893 | married George Perry in 1910 |
There is a gravesite for several members of the Woodcock family at the Field of Mars Cemetery. The photograph below was taken in April 2002.
